At first we tackle a steady climb of 6km on good paved road but then turn into short section of jeep track. riding to Xin Man, a small and busy town near Chinese border. Xin Man is around 75 km from Bac Ha and the biking in the afternoon is not less challenging than the one in the morning. We will climb for the first hour or so up to a plateau at 2500m, where we have fantastic view before hitting rough paved road for a steady descent into Xin Man. Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival ( D )
You are met at the airport and transferred to hotel. Ha Noi , Vietnam’s capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia ‘s most striking colonial architecture. The many lakes and parks make for relaxing atmosphere. (If time permit ) we enjoy a short cyclo excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places.Meet group and have dinner at the local restaurant . O/N in Ha Noi .
Day 2: Hanoi – Lao Cai ( Meal: B, L, D)
This morning we enjoy a half day city tour, seeing the the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. The complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of Hanoi. The next stop of our trip is the impressive Ethnologic Museum, dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minorities, some of which we will see on our forthcoming days. We also visit the Temple of Literature and the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred temple. The reminder of the day is free for your own exploration of Ha Noi until transferring to the rail way station for a night train to Lao Cai. The train conditions are very basic however we will travel in soft sleeper class which is compartment for 4 passengers. O/N on board .
Day 3: Lao Cai – Sa Pa ( Meal: B, L, D) – 20 km biking
Pick up at Lao Cai station then transfer to Sa Pa. Check in and have breakfast in the hotel. After lunch cycling to Lao Chai and Ta Van village of Black H’Mong tribe. Enjoy the valley beautiful scenery along the way .Back to the Hotel for dinner and enjoy the night in Sapa town. Overnight in hotel
Day 4: Sa Pa – Lao Cai ( Meal: B, L, D) – 80 km biking
A long but fantastic days biking, mixing single-track paths and jeep tracks as we descend 2500 metres to the Chinese border , Visit some Red dzao villiage and H,monh village on the way down hill and check in our hotel in Lao Cai .
Day 5: Lao Cai – Bac Ha ( Meal: B, L, D) – 80 km biking
Quiet lanes, a boat trip through the Blue River gorge ( Chay river ) from Coc Ly market, riverbank single-track and an alpine road climb, combine to make an epic days ride to the village of Bac Ha.
Day 6: Bac Ha – Can Cau ( Meal: B, L, D) – 30 km biking
Staying for 2 nights in our hotel, we take a day ride to the colorful Can Cau tribal market. A tarmac ride in followed by a dirt and single-track route on the return.( Can Cau market on Saturday and Bac Ha market on Sunday ) if not in market time we will riding to visit Ban Pho villages and H;mong king palace. O/ N in Bac Ha hotel.
Day 7: Bac Ha – Xi Man – Hoa Si Phu ( Meal: B, L, D) – Biking 85 km
Breakfast in the hotel and begin our ride directly from our hotel. Today we will bike across one of the most remote parts of northern Vietnam. At first we tackle a steady climb of 6km on good paved road but then turn into short section of jeep track. After around 3-hr riding we will have a picnic lunch wherever we find good for that. After lunch we continue riding to Hoang Su Phi, a small and busy town near Chinese border. Hoang Su Phi around 85 km from Bac Ha and the biking in the afternoon is not less challenging than the one in the morning. We will climb for the first hour or so up to a plateau at 2500m, where we have fantastic view before hitting rough paved road for a steady descent into Hoang Su Phi. During the biking we will have regular stop for break, snack and taking photo. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 8: Hoang Si Phu – Ha Giang ( Meal: B, L, D) – 90 km biking
Today we take a gentle ride covering 90km from Hoang Su Phi to Viet Quang Town. The ride takes us down to a bridge over the main river and for the next 40km we ride along a quiet road that gently climbs and follows the river upstream and a quiet town at 1000m. Have a break in town for snack and refreshment then continue with downhill quiet road 60km to Viet Quang. We will have a late light lunch in Viet Quang Town then take a bus transfer to Ha Giang Town, the capital of Ha Giang Province which is the final frontier in northern Vietnam, a lunar landscape of limestone pinnacles and granite outcrops. Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang Town.
Day 09: Ha Giang – Bac Me – Bao Lac ( Meal: B, L, D) – 85 km biking
Time to explore the local markets of Ha Giang before our beautiful but easy ride to the remote village of Bac Me. Overnight local hostel.
Day 10: Bao Lac – Ba Be Lake ( Meal: B, L, D) – 80km Biking
An epic cross-country ride, following a succession of paths, connecting mountain villages that end at Dan Dang. O/N in Ba Be National Park.Home-Stay in Phoc Ngoi villages .
Day11: Ba Be – Cao Bang ( Meal: B, L, D) – 60km Biking
After breakfast take boat trip to explore Babe lake to visit Dau Dang waterfall , caves and start cycling to Cao Bang with lunch en route. From the top, get on our bike again for a going downhill and arrive Cao Bang in late afternoon. Dinner at “Lau” restaurant and over night at hotel in Cao Bang
Day12: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Quang Hoa ( Meal: B, L, D) – 80km Biking
After breakfast, we are cycling through the most beautiful road up to Trung Khanh and Tra Linh towns with visit to villages en route to visit Ban Gioc beautiful waterfall and Nguom Ngao caves . transfer to Quang Hoa at the end of the day. Dinner and over night at the village in Quang Hoa. Home-stay .
Day13: Quang Hoa – Lang Son ( Meal: B, L, D) – 85 km Biking
From valley of Quang Hoa, we follow the most beautiful route up to Dong Khe with stop at villages and for photos. Our driver is waiting for us at Dong Khe for driving to Lang Son with stop That Khe for lunch. Arrive Lang Son in late afternoon. Dinner at local restaurant and over night at the hotel in Lang Son.
Day14: Lang Son – Tien Yen – Ha Long Bay ( Meal: B, L, D) – 85 km Biking
Full day cycling and driving from Lang Son to Ha Long via Tien Yen. Arrive Halong in late afternoon, Check in hotel, beach relaxing and have seafood dinner at the local restaurant . O / N in Halong City .
Day15: Ha Long Bay Cruise & Kayaking ( Meal: B, L, D ) ( No Biking today )
- 12:30 – On arrival at the pier, you will board your Royal Palace Cruise and you are warmly welcomed by a professional and friendly crew.
- 13:00 – Check-in cabin and enjoy specially prepared lunch while cruising through most beautiful parts of the magical bay with thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerald water. Sailing with Royal Palace Cruise in very tranquil route, exploring the exotic beauty of the legendary Bay, a feeling in paradise will come to you.
- 14:30 – Keep cruising to the most beautiful parts of Halong Bay. This is the best time to relax after lunch and enjoy your privacy, capturing stunning photos of the legendary bay.
- 15:30 – Small tender brings you to visit Titop island, hiking to the top of the island from where tourists can capture a panoramic view of Halong Bay.
- 16:30 – Kayaking & swimming 18:00 – Join the sunset party on the sundeck in a warm and romantic atmosphere, making friends with other members in the group, enjoy fresh local fruit, listening soft, light music, wearing traditional costumes for kings, queens, and mandarins.

Day 16: Ha Long – Caves – Cooking class – Hanoi ( Meal: B, L )
- 06:00 – Take photos of sunrise, morning exercise with our Tai Chi master, a perfectly healthy way to start a new day.
- 07:00 – Enjoy your breakfast, coffee, tea, fruits.
- 07:45 – Visit Surprising Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay.
- 09:00 – Back to Royal Palace Cruise for check-out. Keep cruising towards Ha Long Bay, passing by hundreds of islands and islets with different shapes depending on your imagination.
- 10:00 – Cooking class opened right on the cruise.
- 11:00 – Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor.
- 12:30 – Get on the bus to Hanoi.
- 16:30 – Transfer you back to your hotel.
